Parkins was only 16 when she moved from Canada to Los Angeles to become famous. She started as a backup dancer and singer for nightclubs in the area and debuted in 20,000 Eyes, a B-list movie from 1961. Now, she’s an Emmy-winning actress!

Julie was originally from Norway and started acting at 15 years old before winning the Miss Norway competition at 18 years old. After that, she became an Au Pair in England, improving her English before moving to the US to be an actress.
