When Raquel Welch starred alongside Jim Brown in 100 Rifles, there was a lot of controversy. The movie had one of the first interracial love scenes and the year was 1969. Raquel Welch reflects on that time, “I really didn’t see what the big deal was. I’ve always personally been color blind. When I was doing 100 Rifles and I found out I’d be working with Jim Brown, I was more concerned with whether he could act, because he was primarily known as a football player. But he was great.”
