Although Crash beat out Brokeback Mountain for Best Picture in the 2005 Academy Awards, many people felt that this movie was quite overrated. While most people agree that the acting was top notch, the storyline deviated into being too dramatic.

While Pixar came out with A Bug’s Life, which was pretty much universally loved, Dreamworks came out with Antz the very same year. Unfortunately, Antz flopped with moviegoers despite the fact that critics actually quite liked it. Maybe there were just too many bug-related movies out!
