Almost everyone has heard of The Love Boat, that classic TV show that ran on ABC for almost a decade. Originally based on a book by Jeraldine Saunders (who was a cruise director in real life!), the show swept onto the scene in the late 70’s and held audiences captivated every week. Storylines centered around Captain Stubing, Dr. Bricker and a host of other permanent characters. Every episode would welcome guest actors, who would invariably became entangled romantically or otherwise – ending in stolen moments on deck and generally a lot of laughter down below.
