Working on the Weekend
Have you ever stopped to wonder why most 9 – 5 jobs include weekends off? You thought maybe it was due to government regulations or some such but that’s not it. Exodus 31:14 – 15 is very clear on the manner of working on the sabbath stating, “You shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest.”

Leviticus 19:19 tells us, “You are to keep my statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of cattle; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together.” I almost feel bad for every professional athlete in the world for breaking this statute.
