EVA Air
EVA Air is based in Taiwan is has some of the best catering available in Business Class that it even competes with what is served in First Class. The airline has frequent collaborations with chefs in order to create the on-board menus. They even collaborate with Michelin-starred chefs like Motokazu Makamura. The meals served on board are healthy, light, and full of local flavors and ingredients.
Singapore Airlines
If you’ve ever traveled with Singapore Airlines, you know that their reputation for delicious food has been well earned. They too have collaborated with Michelin-starred chefs, including Sam Leong, Suzanne Goin, Carlo Cracco, and MAtthew Moran. You can also partake in the airline’s “Book the Cook” program, which allows you to choose your gourmet main course starting from 24 hours before your flight. Economy passengers also enjoy delicious meals.
Air France
It’s no surprise that the official French airline is known for having good food, since the French pride themselves in being the masters of fine dining and cuisine. The meals served on Air France change every 6 months, and each cycle, a different celebrated French chef designs the new menu, which itself changes every 10 days.
Cathay Pacific
This Hong Kong based airline may not be well known to many US travelers, but it is seriously amazing when it comes to on-board food. This airline was one of the first to include rice cookers, skillets, and toasters on the aircraft in order to provide passengers with freshly prepared meals including steamed rice, eggs cooked on the spot, and toasted bread.
