Roseanne Barr
Larger than life, Roseanne Barr was the voice of the average American working mother for almost a decade in her series Roseanne. Loosely based on her stand-up routine, she later claimed to want to produce a strong, realistic mother figure for American television. Besides acting Barr has been heavily involved in politics and now lives on a huge farm in Hawaii.

Stage, screen, TV – she’s done it all, but was particularly adored for her role in the film Tootsie (starring Dustin Hoffman). She is also involved in charity work and is a UN Goodwill Amabassador.
