Let’s face it, New Jersey doesn’t really have the best reputation. For whatever reason, people seem to think that there’s nothing interesting to see or do in the Garden State, but if you give it a chance, you’ll find that there are a lot of lovely towns to visit with beaches, parks, and of course, gardens. Here are some amazing quaint little towns that you should visit in the state of New Jersey.

Montclair is a lovely suburb that’s just 40 minutes away from New York City. It’s known for having a great selection of unique boutiques like White Rabbit Black Heart, Giftbar, Oasis, and Culture Couture. You can dine at Palazzo Pasta Company, Halycon Brasserie, Koreander, and Marcel Bakery and Kitchen. West Cape May, less than two miles away from downtown Cape May, is a small town with lots of scenic charm. With a population that’s under 1100, this town dates back to 1884 as you can see from the Victorian architecture throughout.
