Here are some amazing quaint little towns that you should visit in the state of New Jersey.
Montclair is a lovely suburb that’s just 40 minutes away from New York City. It’s known for having a great selection of unique boutiques like White Rabbit Black Heart, Giftbar, Oasis, and Culture Couture. You can dine at Palazzo Pasta Company, Halycon Brasserie, Koreander, and Marcel Bakery and Kitchen. If you want to stay overnight, make sure to book your stay at The George, which is actually owned by makeup artist Bobbi Brown.
West Cape May
West Cape May, less than two miles away from downtown Cape May, is a small town with lots of scenic charm. With a population that’s under 1100, this town dates back to 1884 as you can see from the Victorian architecture throughout. You can visit Wilbraham Park, where you can enjoy some great events and offerings like the Lima Bean Festival and local farmers markets.
This small town located in Bergen County has a lovely downtown area where you can have a great day just walking around. You have plenty of restaurants to choose from like Sakura Bana, Latour, Felina, and Roots Steakhouse. Take an art class at Creatively Yours or Ridgewood Art Institute. Engage in some retail therapy at shops like Apricot Lane, Hot Jewelry Box, and Town & Country Apothecary. Finish off the fun with a sweet treat from Cupcakes by Carousel or Sook Pastry.
Tenafly is a New York City suburb with plenty of things to do. You can enjoy a hike or run at the Tenafly Nature Center where you can take in exhibits like the Pollinator Garden, Nature Playscape, Butterfly House, and plenty more. Try out Mochinut, a mochi donut shop that also offers up soft serve ice cream. Of course, you can enjoy some more time outdoors at Huyler Park.
Millburn is a town in Essex County that has so many attractions to offer. Visit the Paper Mill House that dates back from 1938 where you can see live shows.
