Just about everything is done over the web these days – from dating to chatting with friends to watching films, heck there’s even online colleges. Really though, the list of our online capabilities could tumble on for pages but that’s not what we’re here to discuss. Instead we’re gonna roll back to when we briefly mentioned colleges – see, we’re here to illuminate some of the biggest stars in Hollywood who have excelled, not just professionally, but in academia as well. There is more than meets the eye to these stars, just take a look for yourself – and don’t be surprised if their IQ levels take you by surprise.

Shakira – 140

Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer, and record producer Shakira has more than just serious dance skills and an angelic voice – she’s also got brains. And let’s not forget she’s also got two Grammy awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, and so much more. Furthermore she was a guest speaker at the University of Oxford, joining other honoree speakers like Albert Einstein, The Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, and a handful of US Presidents – kind of puts it all into perspective.

Kate Beckinsale – 160

Kate Beckinsale – smart, beautiful, talented, and the queen of practical jokes – the total package. Well while she was modeling and acting, she was also studying French and Russian literature at New College, Oxford and was also a member of the Oxford University Dramatic Society. As she was a Modern Languages student, she had to study abroad and therefore, as it was difficult to juggle college and acting, she dropped out. Worked out for her in the end, eh?

Geena Davis – 140

Up next is the Thelma & Louise star, Geena Davis. While to most she’s just an actress, author, and producer, she’s also a former archer who was a semifinalist in the 2000 U.S. Olympic archery team. In 1979, she graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in drama. However what’s most noteworthy about Geena Davis is that she’s a member of Mensa, a non-profit organization whose members are all in the top 2% of intelligence – yeah, she’s that smart.
