While we personally love the idea of going back to the sustainable development of period clothing, the cast on Little House on the Prairie actually hated it. The novelty of wearing such ornate costumes quickly began to wear on the stars thanks to the hot Cali temperatures.

Alison Arngrim began the show having her hair heat treated to get the proper curls. The process was so grueling, however, that they had to get a wig for Arngrim to wear.
