How could ‘Area 51″ not make this list of prohibited places? It is probably the most famous of the lot! For anyone trying to get more than a glance at the outer fence, be prepared to face a constant military patrol, fighter jets and heat-seeking missiles. Is the site just an Air Force testing site or is it the crash-site of lost UFO’s? We will never know because when it comes to Area 51, the place has more conspiracies than Archie Andrews has freckles.

On April 26th, 1986, a disaster rocked the city of Pripyat in Ukraine that would change the history of thousands of Ukrainian residents forever. The Chernobyl nuclear plant experienced an explosion that released deadly radiation that spread for miles around. The accident was so severe that almost 50,000 residents needed to evacuate within hours of the disaster. Experts calculated that it would take something like 24,000 years until the area would be safe to return to. Today it is strictly forbidden to visit the ghost town of Pripyat.
